The Leather Phoenixes, Phoenae, or whatever, are a pair of women from the NYC area who have risen from the ashes of a former life in Leather to create a new one, more balanced, more serene, and less stressful. Sometimes the flames of the old life start anew, and sometimes you just have to douse them with some water (and then maybe saddle soap and clean the ash off the damn boots!)
